VITI CAN switch module series (VT-KGM2718Q、VT-KGM2711Q) digitalize original switch systems. Each switch module has 7 switches, but the wiring only needs 4 lines (one CAN_H line, one CAN_L line, one wake-up line, and one ground line) to make them work properly. This greatly simplifies vehicle body wiring and improves vehicle body safety. By comparison, a traditional rocker switch with 7 switches needs more than 20 wiring harnesses, causing great inconvenience to production and maintenance. In addition, point-to-point control used in a traditional rocker switch increases failure rate between wiring harness and switch, reducing the reliability of switch systems. VITI CAN switch modules, however, have advantages of not needing to consider positive and negative control state during electrical design, reduced switch system wiring, decreased power consumption, reliable information transmission, etc.
